?? Properties of NBR / Perbunan®
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to mineral oils, fats, aliphatic hydrocarbons, diluted acids and bases
- Temperature range: approx. –30°C to +100°C, briefly up to +120°C
- Mechanical properties:
- Good abrasion resistance
- High elasticity
- Low compression set – ideal for seals
- Not resistant to: ozone, UV radiation, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons

- Automotive industry: seals, fuel hoses, engine components
- Hydraulics & pneumatics: O-rings, shaft seals
- Medical & laboratory: Nitrile gloves as an alternative to latex
- Industry: Roller coatings, membranes, rubber sheets

- HNBR: Hydrogenated NBR with improved ozone and temperature resistance
- Blends with PVC: For better weather resistance
